So now that the first Quantum Code clue is live, you may have solved it and been wondering anything from “what the hell does that mean?” to “what next?” Well, the answer is to check out our Quantum Code forum.

Once there, you can discuss with other code-crackers the latest developments in the competition. You can collude, coerce and contrive ways to get others to help you solve the clues to crack the code, or you can just ask for help. This will be a nationwide competition, so you may need to get interstate Gizmodians to help you with certain clues so that you can stand a chance to crack the code.

Apple Confirms 4GB Nano

Following the appearance of mysterious images this morning, Apple has apparently confirmed the existence of a new 4GB nano. Speaking with an Apple spokeswoman, Reg Hardware discovered that the company made a “limited number of 4GB iPod nanos for some international markets.” Just how many were shipped out and to what countries specifically remains a mystery. Whether this is some sort of test market for a wider launch is also unknown at this time.

It seems Gizmodian laziness has soared to heights not even our beloved ed’s openness to bribery*, an anonymous BMG artist or (gasp) finger food can overcome.

With just 10 days left until the much anticipated (and very exclusive) Sony UCHI party, we still have 5 double passes to the event up for grabs.

Since we’re such generous people here at Giz, and our previous calls for creativity have gone unanswered, we’re going to open up this comp.

To enter, simply tell us via the comments, in 25 words or less, why you should be the one schmoozing it with Sony and Australia’s tech media at the UCHI showcase on Thursday September 25th.
