At Digital Signage World in Sydney yesterday, Intel were not only showing off their augmented reality display, they were also showing a vending machine of the future. If this is the future of vending machines, I hope Australia starts using them like Japan.
Up to 50 different “Apple Tablet” type devices were “detected” by Flurry Analytics testing various types of apps that may make its way to the upcoming machine. Flurry was able to geographically locate the devices to Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino.
