If you’re playing with iTunes 9 in Windows 7, make sure you take advantage of some of the cool Aero peek features, like access to basic audio controls when you hover over the taskbar icon, or the ability to search the iTunes Store by right-clicking. It might not be enough to convince you to upgrade to Windows 7 next month, but it is definitely a cool feature.

newVideoPlayer("aeroscraft_gawker.flv", 475, 376); The FAA has accepted the Aeroscraft Aeros ML866 for certification, the aircraft which is neither an airship nor a dirigible or an aeroplane or an helicopter or a UFO, but is “classified as a fourth type of air vehicle, a buoyancy assisted air vehicle.” However, don’t hold your breath for a pleasant trip in this long-range, 210-feet-long, 5,000-square-feet cruise liner of the skies: the company told the Giz that the “ML866 is preliminary scheduled to begin the flight test activities in 30-36 months.” They couldn’t give us names of their potential customers, but at least they gave us a new picture of the bar onboard:

Yet whenever I would look a laptop product rep in the eye and ask (most recently, HP and Gateway), I’d get a blank stare that says, “We can’t really tell you.” Now, the courageous folks at ZDNet have confirmation from inside HP. The Aero Glass interface is, indeed, a leech and a half.
