The latest rumour out of TechCrunch claims Electronic Arts may scoop up casual gaming company PopCap for a cool $US1 billion.
A report from the Los Angeles Times suggests it was Yahoo! that approached Hulu about a possible acquisition. Yes, the popular video streaming service could become a Yahoo property and hopefully not die a slow, painful death like Delicious or become stagnant like Flickr. [LA Times]
Google’s not saying much about it, but one can’t help but think the company’s late-week acquisition of open-source home theatre and DVR software developer SageTV is related to its struggling Google TV offering.
No big surprise here. Twitter’s finally confirmed it’s purchasing TweetDeck for $US40 million. Twitter now owns one of the top Twitter and social network clients on the planet.
