After including no!no! Skin in my Gizmodo gift guide for obsessive groomers last year, the fine folks at no! no! sent me a test unit of their zit zapper. Even though the device is “FDA cleared”, I was sceptical it would work on my face (yes I stil break out at my age, why god why?). I somehow figured I had extra gross stubborn acne that would refuse to yield to its scientific wiles.
Senslux’s new SLD range of desk lamps will light your stuff with LEDs for low power-consumption eco-friendliness, and come in three types. The SG-1500 model appears to be just a plain ol’ desk lamp, but the SF is apparently a “full spectrum” lamp, presumably to give more natural light to combat the dim winter sun. The last, SA model, claims to be a light therapy for acne. Brilliant. Available in Korea for around US$150, not sure if or when they’ll make it over here. [Aving]
I’m all for gadgets doing more than one thing — cameraphones are great and all — but this pimple-curing MP3 player is kind of ridiculous. It looks like a pretty generic/terrible MP3 player on its own, what with its horrible 128MB of onboard memory, but while you listen to those 10-20 songs it can store over and over again, you can hold it up to your face to help cure your acne. Or not, as I doubt that it works, but I’m no dermatologist. [Product Page via Random Good Stuff]
