When I look back at my teenage years, it’s hard not to get all nostalgic about my trips to Intencity in Westfield Parramatta. They had a couple of Virtual World Entertainment games where you’d sit in a pod and either try and blast away your friends in Battlemech or beat them in a death race in Red Planet. In 1999 I made my first webpage on GeoCities. It was so I could trade concert tapes with strangers on the Internet. Now I’m sad to report that GeoCities is finally dead. So let’s reminisce.
