Telstra’s just released their previously business-only Ultimate USB modem to the masses, along with a couple of new data plans.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, it’s hard to argue with the fact that Telstra has the best HSPA network in the world. And at Mobile World Congress, they’ve just stretched out their lead by announcing they have successfully upgraded NextG to support Dual Carrier technology for theoretical download speeds of up to 42Mbps.
If you thought Telstra’s 21Mbps HSPA speeds were awesome, you’ll be stoked to know that according to Gizmag, Ericsson has just doubled it, demoing 41.5Mbps recently in Stockholm, Sweden.
