Zazz quite often has pretty good laptop deals, and today is no exception. They’re offering a Samsung R519 laptop: 15.6-inch screen, 2.0GHz Pentium T4200 dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 320GB SATA hard drive, 6-cell battery and Vista installed (although there’s a free upgrade to Windows 7) for just $677.85. That’s a lot of spec for not a lot of buck…

Toshiba Offering Bonus Netbooks With Regza Purchase

You pretty much can’t buy a TV at the moment without getting something for free. Toshiba have joined the giveaway bandwagon by offering a NB200 netbook worth $699 (via redemption) with the purchase of one of their new ZV600A and XV600A series LCD TVs.

The deal is available from some time next week through to the 10th of January next year, while stocks last – and there are 5000 available…

David over at Kotaku has discovered a great deal on Xbox Live subscriptions: You can get a 12-month subscription to the service for just $45.95, a saving of $34, or the equivalent of about five months worth of online gaming. Microsoft has unveiled its Xbox 360 bundle du jour, with a copy of Lego Batman and PURE thrown in with an Xbox 360 Elite console, 120GB HDD and wireless controller for $449. Not bad, but I think a PS3 with Uncharted 2 is probably a better buy at this stage of the game…

Sony Giving Away Guitar Hero 5 With MU.TE.KI Purchases

If you’ve been eyeballing Sony’s massive MU.TE.KI surround sound system, now’s as good a time as any to pick it up… Until December 31, they’ll throw in a Guitar Hero 5 guitar pack for the console of your choice via redemption.

While it’s not the biggest value add-on we’ve ever seen, I imagine there’d be something pretty special about playing along to Muse’s Plug In Baby at full volume through these monsters.

LG Joins The Christmas Bonus Deal Brigade

The latest company to offer free bonuses with TV purchases? LG, who are offering a bonus 23-inch full HD LCD valued at $899 when you pick up a selected LG TV or fridge.

Sharp Bundling Their Aquos LCDs With Xbox 360s

We’ve seen Sony and Panasonic’s special TV Christmas bundles, but tipster Luke has pointed us towards the Sharp offer, where purchase of selected Aquos LCDs sees you eligible for an Xbox 360 Elite bundled with four “premium” games.

There’s no word on exactly what games are included, other than the fact that they’re “premium” games, but from the image it looks like Halo: ODST and Kameo are included. As for which TVs are eligible, you can get the LC40LE700X, LC40LB700X, LC42D77X, LC46D77X, LC52D77X, or LC65RX1X. Catchy names, huh?

Panasonic Giving Free HD Stuff When You Buy A Viera Plasma

We’re coming up to the Christmas period, which means it’s time for special TV bundles. We’ve already seen Sony’s offering, and now Panasonic has announced that they’ll be giving away free HD gear with the purchase of Viera plasma TVs.

If you do happen to pick up an eligible plasma TV from Panny between October 24 and December 24 this year, you’ll be eligible to receive either an HD Tough LUMIX Camera pack valued at $643, an HD Blu-ray Home Theatre valued at $1,099 or an HD Twin Tuner DVD Recorder with 250GB HDD also valued at $1,099.

There are 12,000 of each bonus gift to giveaway, which isn’t too many. I can’t imagine too many people would jump at the camera pack either considering the much lower value in comparison. But still, if bonus free stuff influences your TV purchasing decisions, this isn’t a bad little offer.

This Sony Bravia Deal Is Pretty Frickin’ Awesome

If you’re even contemplating picking up a Sony KDL40Z5500 or KDL46Z5500 Bravia TV, you might want to consider hopping in the car and driving up to Northern NSW or Queensland to grab it from Retravision, cos their current promo is pretty unbeatable.

When you pick up either TV for $2499 or $2799 respectively, you’ll get Sony’s three-year warranty as standard. You’re also eligible for Sony’s current PS3 giveaway promotion. But the Retravision stores in Northern NSW and Queensland will sweeten the deal even further by throwing in a KDL22S5700S 56cm LCD, worth $899, for free with your purchase. That works out at about $1600 worth of bonus product for a $2500 spend. That’s totally worth the cost of petrol to get up there.
