August 17th, 2009 at 9:20 PMSpotify’s great because it’s the same sort of thing, but you can choose between a free, ad-supported version and an ad-free €9.99 a month subscription. The pro version also allows iPhone streaming, although that would be pointless here until the networks introduce unlimited data allowances. Hopefully this will take off and either Spotify, or someone similar will launch a free alternative.

Then you can scroll through the list below – it’s much faster than typing the full name. Obviously this still isn’t perfect and a keyboard search (even the on screen keyboard) would make more sense.
Agree with the comments about picture quality and also the fullscreen issue. Other than this it looks like an awesome service!
