Bristlebot Toothbrush Robot Now An Actual Product

Klutz has been making these for at least a couple of months…

The orignal designers (evil mad scientist labs) got up in arms about it because they didn’t get credit for the idea.

Laptop Mag Determines Acer, Dell And HP Have The Worst Tech Support

You speak to someone in Sydney for Acer regardless of your support level.

Their call centre is in Homebush. I can definately say that Acer have better support than this in Australia. They may have slightly long wait times (7-10 minutes) but they speak real english…

LucasArts Bringing Old School Adventure Games To iPhone?

Exactly what I was going to say. LucasArts have realised that this is another way to rake in millions from dead IP (read: Monkey Island XBLA) and I bet they are going to send a letter to ScummVM very soon saying something along the lines of this:
“Hey puny humans,
We know that ScummVM allows you to play your own purchased games on a number of devices and doesn’t really infringe on any copyrights, but we made another version and since it is our IP, if you have to stop distributing yours we will find a reason to sue you.
Thanks,
Your new Overlords.”

Why Is Brando Selling A Tissue Holder That Has Obama's Face On A @%$#&*% KFC Bucket?!

To quote wikipedia:
“Since the Civil War traditional slave foods like fried chicken, watermelon, and chitterlings, have suffered a strong association with African American stereotypes and blackface minstrelry. This was commercialized for the first half of the 20th century by restaurants like Sambo’s and Coon Chicken Inn, which selected exaggerated blacks as mascots, implying quality by their association with the stereotype. While acknowledged positively as soul food in the modern age by many, the affinity that African American culture has for fried chicken has been considered a delicate, often pejorative issue; While still present, this perception has been fading for several decades with the ubiquitous nature of fried chicken dishes in the US and a gradual rejection of race-based stereotypes.”

Why Is Brando Selling A Tissue Holder That Has Obama's Face On A @%$#&*% KFC Bucket?!

it’s a typical racist cliche that black people can’t get enough fried chicken…

iPhone 3GS Definitely Coming to Three in July

Exactly what I said about yesterday’s news. Why should Vodafone get the iPhone and not 3…

Could The iPhone Be Coming To Three? (UPDATED!)

I wouldn’t go to virgin… Vodafone is expanding their coverage as we speak and is going to have the best coverage (and rates) in Aus by the end of August.

Could The iPhone Be Coming To Three? (UPDATED!)

In case you didn’t know, 3 Mobile (Hutchison) is going under a merger process with Vodafone.

I had the opportunity of speaking to a vodafone rep recently who informed me that they would probably be keeping the ‘3′ brand name alive. Now that the iPhone 3GS has data encryption, it can more typically be marketed to businesses instead of blackberry. 3 Mobile was mainly a city based service previously (because of their lack of reception regionally) and hence only really suited to some businesses and city-folk. After the merger, 3 will have access to the same service and coverage that Vodafone have now (GSM 2100 in most cities and GSM 900 regionally).

To summarise, anything Vodafone has, 3 Mobile will have too.
