Let’s say you’re a huge fan of the first three Indiana Jones movies. You’d love to put posters for all of them up on your wall, but simply don’t have the space. What’s a fan to do?
All Images: Bottleneck Gallery
Enter Gabz. The talented artist has teamed up with Lucasfilm and Bottleneck Gallery to deliver this stunning triptych of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. All of your favourite characters and scenes are here on one glorious poster.
And it’s on sale right now. Check it out:
That’s the 36 x 61cm regular version, available now through 3:59pm AEDT Monday at this link. The gallery will print as many as are sold. It costs $US50 ($64).
There’s also a variant edition, limited to 250. It’s sold out already, unfortunately, but admire it anyway:
I love almost everything about this print. The one small thing is having Temple of Doom in the middle. It makes sense. It was the second film released and Gabz balances the characters out really well. It just would have been a tad cooler if, instead of chronologically, he went with Temple first, Raiders big and bold in the middle, then Last Crusade on the end.
However, with the piece being officially licensed, it’s highly likely that simply wasn’t allowed. At least he didn’t have to put “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” on it. Shudder.
A new Indiana Jones film is still tentatively scheduled for release mid-2020.
