Detective Pikachu

That Hashtag Show reports Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Mark Wahlberg are all in consideration for the voice of Pikachu. God, you don’t know how good that sentence felt to type out, even if it doesn’t end up being true.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

While speaking with IGN about his directorial debut, Breathe, Andy Serkis declined to comment whether Rey deliberately factors into Snoke’s masterplan, but confirmed the outlet was “onto something.”

Oh man, that’s so confidential I can’t possibly talk about it. I’m sorry [Laughs], I would love to tell you…. All I can is you’re onto something.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3/Avengers 4

In an interview with Uproxx, Kevin Feige stated the fourth Avengers movie would draw the MCU as we know it to a close.

Well, all I’ll say is the films we are working on now — which take us through to the Avengers Untitled in May of 19 — that’s really all we are focusing on. And we are focusing on bringing, by that point, an unprecedented, 22-movie, continuous shared fictional narrative to a conclusion in a satisfying way.

However, James Gunn was quick to swoop in on Twitter and rephrase Feige’s comment, stating “it’s the end of one long story and the beginning of another.”

Gambit

As if there was any doubt, Gambit will film in New Orleans, according to Omega Underground.

Justice League

“Flash Week” kicks off with a motion poster of Ezra Miller…standing totally still.

Coco

Pixar has a new featurette on the making of Coco.

24 Hours to Live

Ethan Hawke plays an assassin temporarily brought back to life for one more job from beyond the grave in the trailer for Saban’s totally-not-a-Crank-ripoff, 24 Hours to Live.

Crisis on Earth-X

New set pictures from the Crisis on Earth-X CW/DC crossover depict Oliver battling his Nazi Earth-X counterpart and Overgirl, the Nazi mirror of Supergirl, in action.

Arrow

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Stephen Amell stated this week’s episode will include “the coolest name drop we’ve ever done.”

I come in and talk with the reporters, and one of the things that I’m enjoying doing as mayor this year, and Oliver as a character to a certain extent, is I’ve tried to up the charm factor a little bit. He should be a little more comfortable in his shoes as a public figure. He steps in and deals with the press in a very, very relaxed way. Quentin says to him, ‘You seem pretty good with this,’ and Oliver’s like, ‘I’ve been here before.’ In that scene, we get to do the coolest name drop that we’ve ever done on the show, which I was really fired up about.

The Flash

Speaking with CBR, Jessica Camacho discussed the sudden appearance of Gypsy’s father, Breacher, on the show.

Her dad is quite terrifying. He is quite protective of his baby girl. In his eyes, no man is going to be good enough for his little baby girl. Enter Cisco, who abruptly meets him. Cisco is forced to prove his worthiness to Breacher. Just as bad arse as Gypsy is, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We see the source of her intensity. We see that in Breacher. He’s ready, upon meeting Cisco, to see what he’s made of.

Big Hero 6: The Series

The series premieres November 20th (8/7c) on both Disney and Disney XD with a one-hour TV movie titled, “Baymax Returns.” [TV Line]

Locke & Key

Production on the comics adaptation has begun, according to an Instagram post from series author Joe Hill.

The Gifted

Coming Soon has pictures from the next two episodes, “eXit strategy” and “boXed in,” including a new look at the show’s version of comic book Mutant Shatter. More at the link.

Riverdale

Finally, here’s a brief new teaser for Riverdale, in which Archie poses for a yearbook photo while a creepy image of, presumably, the lurking Black Hood flashes behind him. Spooky!
