We’ve known Fox was planning a Deadpool-led team-up film for a while, but now it’s taken a major step forward: Drew Goddard, the writer behind the adaptation of The Martian and the first season of Netflix’s Daredevil, will write and direct the movie.
The movie will follow Deadpool leading a “black ops” mutant team, who in the comics were a much deadlier superteam in comparison to your typical X-Men squads. Josh Brolin’s Cable is expected to be part of the film, but reacting to the news on Twitter, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld added that Zazie Beets’ Domino, who will debut in Deadpool 2, will be in the film as well.
Except Cable and Domino are missing from this pic. Trust me. https://t.co/0LGZCIAmYK

The X-Force comic team has fluctuated over the years, but famous mutants such as Psylocke, Archangel and even Wolverine have been members over the years. Fox does own those characters, but whether they will appear in X-Force remains to be seen.
