Make a list of the best science fiction films made this decade and World of Tomorrow is right near the top. If you haven’t seen or heard of it, that’s probably because it’s a short film, but it’s jaw-droppingly amazing and now it’s getting a sequel.

If you haven’t seen World of Tomorrow, carve out 15 minutes this weekend and do that. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a fascinating exercise not just in animation, but in time-travel storytelling, philosophy, and so much more.
Here’s the teaser trailer to give you a taste — but really, seeing the film totally cold is the best way.
As for what “The Burden of Other People’s Thoughts” could be, we can only imagine. Something with a character being able to hear other people’s thoughts? Living in another person’s mind? An older version of a character reading the mind of that person at a younger age? Knowing Hertzfeldt, it’s probably something much more clever. We’re excited to find out.
