During the show’s panel at Comic-Con, it was revealed that Said Taghmaoui, who played Sameer in Wonder Woman, has been cast as Amahl Farouk, best known in the comics as one of the human forms of the sinister Shadow King that plays a fundamental role in David’s story in the comics.. It was also stated the new season will be 10 episodes long, and that the producers are “working on” locking down an appearance from Professor X himself.
