Virgin Australia’s New ‘The Business’ Cabin Review: The Seat To Beat From Sydney To LA
Mates Rates is Virgin’s monthly deals sale, and from midnight tonight Brisbane time (1AM AEDT for all the more sensible Daylight Savings Time-observing folk south of the border) there’s a 72-hour sale on business class fares across the carrier’s entire network. You’ll be able to save between 30 and 40 per cent on standard fares throughout the sale, which means business travelers and well-heeled fun-seekers should be able to take advantage of the savings.
From our own experience, Virgin’s Business Class on longer routes — Sydney to Perth, and some international destinations including long-haul to Abu Dhabi or Los Angeles — is bloody marvellous. It’s the newest business class suite in the sky on those long-haul routes, too, and it’s just about the nicest place to spend 15-odd hours.
