Tom Cruise is freeeeeeeeeee, free fallin’!
YouTuber DrMachakil grabbed some footage of Cruise taking a plunge in Vanilla Sky and digitally inserted it into a slough of other films. While on his vertical journey, Cruise fights the Balrog in The Two Towers, annoys Obi-Wan Kenobi in Attack of the Clones, and is finally (and violently) stopped by The Avengers… and Cruise himself, as he sings a gleeful rendition of “Free Fallin” by Tom Petty.
It’s a perfect companion piece to last year’s video of Cruise running for 18 minutes straight. And given the fact that Cruise’s upcoming film, The Mummy, includes a long scene where he screams and flops around in a crashing plane, this seems like a perfect way to get warmed up for the Universal monster flick.
