Kogan Has A $750 4K Curved TV

If you’re one of the few people still keen for a curved TV, Kogan has a deal just for you.

The retailer says it’s brand new 55-inch 4K TV is part of a “mission to make the latest technology more accessible and affordable for all Australians”, and it is available on pre-order from today.

That $749 price tag is for pre-orders, which Kogan says “will be fulfilled on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis”. Once the pre-order launch special is over (there’s no indication of when that might be), the regular price will be $799.

Kogan CEO and Founder Ruslan Kogan says that curved TV’s are a “‘nice to have’ rather than a ‘must have’” and that “customers have been crying out for an affordable, quality curved television in Australia, and [Kogan is] here to deliver on those demands”.

As for specs, here are the main details:

  • 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 resolution
  • Personal Video Recorder
  • 4 x HDMI inputs
  • 2 x USB 2.0
  • 4-star energy rating

You can order one online here. There’s a limit of one per customer, and they are scheduled to leave the warehouse on the 31st January.
