Hero of Time is a one hour arrangement based on Koji Kondo’s score to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Officially licensed, and recorded by the 64-player Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, Hero of Time promises to “breathe new life” into the classic Ocarina of Time score – on vinyl!

Now, keep in mind this is just a synthesized mockup. The final tracks will be recorded live in January 2017 in Europe by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, then mastered and prepared for vinyl. If you order a copy, it will be in your hands in Autumn 2017.
Eric Buchholz is the composer of the album, and he is no stranger to the world of Zelda. He tours video game concerts globally, including The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.
As for the gorgeous artwork, you’re looking at the work of Ryan Brinkerhoff. There’s a die-cut Ocarina window on the jacket’s front and a gatefold with Light or Dark sides. There’s also a gold foil-stamped triforce on the back – because of course. It’s gorgeous.
