Seagate’s New SSD For Xbox Aims To Have You Gaming Faster

Say hello to Seagate’s new portable 512GB Game Drive for Xbox SSD. It’s portable, so you can take your games to your mate’s place.

Using flash storage, it fits about 15 titles (based on 35–50GB per game) and promises to reduce waiting at welcome screens – as well as enable quicker transitions between levels.

It’s got easy plug-and-play setup, a black brushed aluminium casing to match your Xbox (unless you have a white one, of course), compact size and no power cable.

This model joins the company’s HDD version which debuted at Gamescom 2015. That model is available in 2TB and 4TB capacities and can store approximately 50 or 100 games respectively.

You can pick one up at JB Hi-Fi for $329.
