Video: A Japanese company called On-Art Corporation wants to build a Jurassic Park-like attraction called “Dino-A-Park”. But instead of spending billions of dollars trying to bring extinct creatures back to life, the company has instead created some of the most life-like and realistic dinosaur costumes you’ve ever seen.
Recently revealed in Tokyo by the company’s CEO, Kazuya Kanemaru, the dinosaur costumes are made from carbon fibre and other lightweight materials so they only weigh about 38kg, requiring just a single person inside to make them stomp around. Because they’re so light, the performers inside the costumes are able to move quickly, making the dinos appear even more realistic — without the risk of them eating any of the park’s guests.
