‘Miles Deep’ Is The Perfect Porn Video Editor, Powered By Artificial Intelligence

OK, this is getting out of hand. Since the source for Yahoo’s neural network for porn was released, it’s been repurposed a few times. First, someone made it pump out Giger-esque images of genitalia of its own creation and now, it’s been transformed into a video editor than can not only classify types of porn within a clip, but create and export snippets, ready for, uh, consumption. NSFW warning!

Created by one “ryanjay0”, the appropriately named “Miles Deep” video editor is available on GitHub for all and sundry.

ryanjay0 claims the editor, powered by Yahoo’s NSFW filtering code, is 95 per cent accurate and can “quickly [classify] each second of a pornographic video into 6 categories based on sexual act”.

What categories might those be?

  • blowjob_handjob
  • cunnilingus
  • other
  • sex_back
  • sex_front
  • titfuck

It certainly doesn’t cover the entire gamut of tastes, but for an experimental project, it’s a decent starting set. If you’re wondering what “sex_front” and “sex_back” mean, I’ll let ryanjay0 explain:

Sex front and back are defined by the position of the camera, instead of the orientation of the performers. If the female’s body is facing the camera so the front of the vagina is shown, it’s sex front. If the female’s rear is shown instead, it’s sex back. This creates two visually distinct classes. No distinction is made between vaginal and anal intercourse; sex back or sex front could include either.

Once the AI has identified the specified act, it can “automatically edit the video” and “remove all the scenes not containing sexual contact, or edit out just a specific act”.

No examples are provided, though I can understand why ryanjay0 would be reluctant to upload them to GitHub.

If you thought porn was accessible now, just wait until sites like PornHub get a hold of this. Remember when Quagmire discovered the internet? That’s the future, people. That’s the future.
