Logan

The film’s Instagram account has released a new teaser image, ominously titled “Bullet”.

Eagle eyed fans in the post’s comments, however, pinpoint a potentially tragic detail: The bullet holes in the side of the car appear to be on the same side Charles Xavier was sitting in during a chase sequence shown off in the first trailer. It’s not 100 per cent confirmed yet, but it could indicate an unfortunate fate for the elder mutant in the movie. [CBR]

Fantastic Beasts 2

David Yates says that Newt’s mysterious paramour will have a large role in the sequel:

Leta Lestrange comes into the second movie. She’s quite complicated and damaged and confused and Newt is absolutely still in love with her, so she has a kind of power over him, and she, yeah, she’s a kind of tragic figure, so we will see a bit more of her in the second movie.

Inhumans

A new report from The Hollywood Reporter states the first two episodes of the series, being released in IMAX theatres, will premiere on 4 September 2017. Interestingly the same report also notes that the new eight-part series is not considered to be a replacement for the previously planned Inhumans feature film, perhaps indicating that the film has simply been pushed back indefinitely rather than outright cancelled in favour of the show.

Snowpiercer

Novelist — and co-founder and former editor-in-chief of io9 — Charlie Jane Anders has joined the creative team behind the new TV series based on the film.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency

The BBC America series has already been renewed for a second season.[Spoiler TV]

CW/DC Universe

Here’s a series of new interlinking posters for the upcoming four-part crossover series.

Arrow

Stephen Amell talks about the tone shift for the show’s 100th episode:

It is such a radical departure from anything that we have ever done on the show. We utilise the fantastical elements that we bring in on The Flash and carry through to Legends of Tomorrow with the present-day storyline to create something… that is not a flashback [or] a flash-forward. It’s something else entirely.

There [is] a very therapeutic moment for my character towards the end [of the Arrow episode] where I get to say goodbye to people that I never got the chance to say goodbye to.

A stunning turn during the American revolution prompts Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus to to question whether they have been fighting on the wrong side the whole time. While Agent Christopher prepares for the worst back in present day, the team encounters The Father of the Country, makes a dubious pact, and confronts the plausibility they may not be a trio for long.
