Apple’s Big MacBook Event Is October 27

Apple just sent out press invites for an event taking place on October 27. You know what that means — new MacBooks!

It has been approximately 27 years since we got a new MacBook Pro (and even longer since the Mac Pro got an update), so let’s hope Apple has something exciting in store for us.

On Monday, Japanese Apple site Macotakara reported that new MacBook Pro units should start shipping out by the end of the month. According to Macotakara, who has an above-average track record with these sorts of things, Apple is going to overhaul the MacBook Pro line and update the 13-inch MacBook Air.

The event will take place in Cupertino. The event will be live-streamed from Apple’s website.
