Power Rangers

According to Walter Jones, who played Zack in the original series, none of the original cast were invited to make cameo appearances in the film:

It’s not likely. Unfortunately, we were not invited to be part of the film, which is confusing to me, but I’m excited about the film nevertheless.

Ash vs Evil Dead

Den of Geek asked Bruce Campbell if the series will ever catch up with the story of the Evil Dead remake:

Can we expect to see the story of the remake meet up with the show at any point?

You can’t expect anything. In the Evil Dead movies you can only expect the unexpected. These were never designed to be a franchise. These were a very slow growing series of movies and the TV show was a natural outgrowth; it made more sense to do a TV show than a 75-million-dollar movie, for example. It’s dictated by economics and look, a lot of the difference between Army Of Darkness and now is that Army Of Darkness flopped, which most people forget; the series was dead after that. It took until the late ’90s to rekindle it on DVD, so we’re actually really glad to celebrate the release of the Ash Vs Evil Dead DVD so DVD collectors can add it to the rest of the series.

Once Upon a Time

Here’s an incredibly lengthy synopsis for the next season of the show.

Welcome to Storybrooke, a small town in Maine that you won’t find on any map. This town is full of magic, populated by fairytale characters once cursed by the Evil Queen Regina to live in our world — deprived of their memories and happy endings. Until Emma Swan came to town and changed everything. With the help of her son, Henry, Emma embraced her true identity as the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming — the Saviour destined to break the Curse. But even after returning everyone’s memories, Emma’s mission was far from over. With the Curse broken, Mr. Gold (aka Rumplestiltskin) was free to bring magic to Storybrooke. And magic ALWAYS comes with a price…

As “Once Upon a Time” returns to ABC for its sixth season, so does its classic villain — the Evil Queen. Creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (“Lost,” “Tron: Legacy”) invite you to join everyone’s favourite fairytale characters as they face-off against this supercharged enemy.

When Regina split herself in an attempt to eliminate her evil half, she unwittingly released the Evil Queen. Now the Evil Queen is back and ready to leave a trail of destruction in her wake. Meanwhile, Regina is quickly learning that destroying her dark side won’t be that easy, especially when dealing with the consequences of having unleashed the Queen on Storybrooke. Emma learns a life-altering secret that could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones. While the heroes grapple with what Emma is confronting, Henry welcomes the new arrivals from the Land of Untold Stories by pledging to help them complete their tales. But when Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina, Captain Hook and Zelena become entwined in these untold tales, they find themselves haunted by their own unfinished pasts. Meanwhile, after handing Storybrooke over to Mr. Hyde, Mr. Gold continues his quest to wake Belle from her self-induced sleeping curse, in hopes of reuniting with both her and their unborn child.

This season our heroes will be met with many surprises, including Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), a former Saviour who may be able to offer Emma just the help she needs, Jafar (Oded Fehr), Princess Jasmine (Karin David), the Count of Monte Cristo (Craig Horner) and Morpheus (Giles Matthey).

Supernatural

Expect “smaller, personal” stories and more Castiel-centric plots in the next season, according to new showrunner Andrew Dabb:

It’s about telling smaller stories that impact more of our characters. For example, this year, especially toward the middle of the season, we’re using Castiel in stand-alone episodes in a way that he hasn’t been used in a long time.

The Exorcist

A synopsis for the second episode, “Lupus in Fabula”, has been released.

While Bishop Egan denies Tomas permission to perform the exorcism of Angela’s daughter, Father Marcus breaks out of Saint Aquinas and joins forces with Tomas, though he urges him to get his ex, Jessica, out of his life and heart. The Rance family’s relationship with the demon deepens and when Marcus catches Angela stealing holy water, he instructs her on how to use it. On Chicago’s South Side, a series of bizarre ritual killings begin taking place.
