Every new Star Wars movie means the fictional universe gets new characters, new storylines, new planets, new vehicles, and, most importantly, new toys. With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hitting theatres in just a few months, the film’s marketing onslaught is now officially underway, including new blasters from Nerf if you’ve got Death Star plans of your own to steal.

It’s a good idea to always keep a basic blaster at your side in the Star Wars universe, you’ll never know when you’ll need it. The Nerf Captain Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) Blaster is a simple single-shot affair, but includes three Elite GlowStrike darts that glow after being charged up by battery-powered LEDs inside the gun. Available sometime this Spring for just $US20 ($27).

For some, the dark side has always been more appealing than the light. And with the Nerf Imperial Death Trooper Deluxe Blaster there’s good reason to fight alongside the baddies. A pump-action mechanism lets you quickly fire three Elite GlowStrike darts one after the other, and thanks to three AAA batteries and some LED lights inside the muzzle, the darts glow so you can keep on battling Jedis and the resistance well into the night. It’s also available sometime this Spring for $US35 ($47).

Nerf GlowStrike Jyn Erso Deluxe Blaster

You’ll first have to stuff the Nerf Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones) Deluxe Blaster with its four included AA batteries to really take advantage of the $US50 ($67) toy’s best features. But you’ll be rewarded with laser blast sound effects taken from the Star Wars films, and an impressive dart blasting range of up to 65-feet. The blaster also uses the Nerf Elite GlowStrike darts that are charged up by internal LEDs, which is important since it’s always so dark inside the Death Star. Turn a light on, Vader. Available sometime this Spring.
