Chuck Tingle Got Pounded In The Butt By My Hugo Award Loss

It’s been less than a day since Chuck Tingle lost at the Hugo Awards for his prized short story Space Raptor Butt Invasion, and he’s already being pounded in the butt by it.

That’s right, Tingle’s already released an e-book after losing to Naomi Kritzer for Cat Pictures Please Saturday at MidAmeriCon II, held this year in Kansas City.

According to the Amazon description, Pounded in the Butt By My Hugo Award Loss is the scintillating tale of an award-nominated doctor who finds out what it means to be a Hugo Award loser through lots and lots of sex — 5,000 words worth, to be precise. Behold the description of this masterpiece:

It’s the night before the Hugo Awards and nominated author Dr. Chuck Tingle is brimming with anxiety. Of course, he’d love to win the most prestigious award in science fiction literature, but winning comes with a lot of baggage and responsibility. On the other side of things, losing would be devastating in it’s own right.

All of this nervous tension comes to a head when Chuck is approached by the sentient physical manifestation of his potential Hugo Award loss, and is forced to confront his future as a writer head on.

The pseudonymous erotica author’s been having a field day ever since Theodore Beale (aka Vox Day) nominated his space epic for Best Short Story in an attempt to “embarrass” the Hugo attendees. And by that, I mean he’s been trolling the hell out of Beale and his followers.

Immediately after being nominated, Tingle published a new e-book, Slammed in the Butt by My Hugo Award Nomination. He started calling Beale “VOXMAN” and his supporters “devilmen,” posting GIFs and tweets making fun of them. He registered therabidpuppies.com, which mostly features a sexy picture of Channing Tatum. He also asked Zoe Quinn to accept his award in his place, because he knew how much Beale’s Rabid Puppies would love that.

Pounded in the Butt By My Hugo Award Loss is available for $US2.99 ($4) on Amazon. Maybe Tingle could send a free copy to Beale. Since Beale nominated him, he clearly must love the author’s work.
