“Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the terrible events that have taken place in Nice, France,” Optus said in a statement.

The telco warns that the high volume on the telecommunications network around France may impact calls getting through. You may experience busy tones, recorded voice announcements or the call might go straight to voicemail.

Optus says that customers who wish to discuss their individual circumstances can call the Customer Services team on 133 937.
