If you’re going to market a car, why not do so by, well, driving the darn thing? It appears Tesla’s salespeople have clicked onto this amazing concept and as such, the company will drive a Model S up Australia’s east coast for what it’s dubbed the “Electric Road Trip”.

The road trip isn’t exclusive to Australia, so if you’re reading this post from somewhere else, Tesla’s official site will point you in the right direction.
For everyone else, the 38-day Australia leg will include four stops, including Victoria, Queensland and NSW:
When: 15-17 July
Where: QT Hotel, Falls Creek, VIC
When: 5-7 August
Where: Ten Minutes by Tractor, Mornington, VIC
When: 12-14 August
Where: Pullman Magenta, Magenta Shores, NSW
When: 19-21 August
Where: Sofitel Noosa, Noosa, QLD
At each stop, Tesla will provide eager motorists with test drives, though it looks like you’ll need to RSVP ahead of time for the privilege.
Otherwise, I’m guessing if you just want to look without touching, you can pop along at the right time on the appropriate day and have a squiz.
