Shockingly, Rob Zombie’s New Movie Looks Exactly Like All Of Rob Zombie’s Old Movies

The trailer for Rob Zombie’s 31 is here, and it contains all of his trademark flourishes: Evil clowns, chainsaws, other visual homages to 1970s horror, redneck drawls, overwrought one-liners (“Murder school is now in session!”), copious shots of Sheri Moon Zombie’s midriff and cartoonish violence.

Here’s the plot:

From the visionary mind of Rob Zombie comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game or life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.

And yep, that’s Malcolm McDowell in a powdered wig.

An Australian release has yet to be announced.
