Computex just isn’t Computex without some insane and crazy cases. But every now and again, you get one that’s simply stunning as well. Enter stage right, Streacom’s DB4.
The DB4 is the company’s latest crack at building a fanless case that tries to dispel the standard notion of the bits and parts that house a gaming PC. The sides are made of extruded aluminium, while also helping serve to cool the components inside.
According to Streacom, who announced the case at this year’s Computex, the sides can handle up to 120W of cooling for the CPU when coupled. It’s also a versatile case, with support for just about every ITX motherboard on the market.

You’ll need one of Streacom’s ZeroFlex or Nano power supplies to operate the unit, but beyond that you’ve got as much freedom over the internals as you’d like. There’s room for a full dual slot PCIe card, provided it’s within 200mm, and up to a maximum 5 x 3.5″ drives or 12 x 2.5″ drives. You’d probably opt for a mix of the two though — a big SATA drive for storage, a couple of SSDs for your Windows and Steam installs, and so on.

The DB4 isn’t available locally yet, although you should be able to get Newegg to ship a case down under when suppliers receive stock. LifeFX also stock Streacom’s cases if you’d rather deal with a local retailer.
