Los Angeles-based custom cabinet maker Luno just combined two great things into one great thing, and I hate my brain for not thinking of it first.
Unflatteringly named the EGB2, this piece of functional retro furniture houses a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon — a damn good turntable — inside a custom-made cabinet with modern AirPlay conveniences, a silk dome tweeter and a 100-watt subwoofer for extra thump. But the crown jewel is the included mini-bar, complete with four gold-rimmed glasses for all your liquor-guzzling pleasure.
It can also house 150 records!
Since each cabinet is custom made, prices vary but expect in the thousands, since the record player alone starts at around $US400 ($557). Either way, I want need it.
