Stunning 7000-Image Satellite Mosaic Of Africa Doesn’t Have A Single Cloud

Each of the vaguely vertical strips in the image was collected by the ESA’s Sentinel-2A satellite and measures 290km wide. The majority of the images were collected between December 2015 and April 2016. And the space agency is pretty proud of the feat: It says that “being able to capture the Tropics cloud-free over the five months is remarkable”.
