Slick Editing Turns This Pudgy Pup Into A Drum Machine

Slick Editing Turns This Pudgy Pup Into A Drum Machine

Video: The right editing can turn anything into a song. We’ve watched a guy turn a bass with no strings into a sweet beat. Hell, Andrew Huang’s built an entire YouTube channel on the concept. But this is the first time I’ve seen it done with a live animal.

All sorts of percussive sounds can be made on a bulldog to imitate parts of a drum kit. Sonically, head scratches and belly slaps are remarkably close to a shaker and a kick drum, respectively. Of course, barks and dog farts are incorporated as well to form a loose melody. The video itself is a bit short but that’s sort of missing the point of this being a song written on a dog.

If dog-fronted grindcore is more your style, might I humbly suggest Caninus?
