The Daily Mail just posted up a whole bunch of new photos from the Star Wars Episode VIII’s filming location at Pinewood Studios, and they show off some interesting locations. Potential spoilers ahead.
The fixture here is the Millennium Falcon front and centre. This shouldn’t come as any surprise, given that Rey and Chewbacca took off with the spaceship at the end of The Force Awakens.
What’s really interesting here is the set that they have parked on: it looks very much like the Skellig Michael location that we saw at the end of the film, but slightly different: there’s a huge, decaying-looking tree in the centre.
Another picture shows another set that’s been constructed nearby: a modern looking spaceport.
You can see the entire group of pictures over on The Daily Mail.
It looks like Lucasfilm’s fleet of drones failed in their mission to protect the set from unauthorised photographers.
