Here Are Woolworths’ New ‘Simple’ Mobile Plans

Woolworths today launched three new “simple” phone bundles, designed to make it easier to choose the right inclusions on a range Samsung phones (including the S7, S6, S5 and A3) “at supermarket prices”.

Running on parts of Telstra’s 3G and 4G mobile network, the plans come with a “zero-bill shock” promise so you never spend more than your agreed amount.

Available at selected stores and online, the plans have been created to suit “small” (1GB data/$1000 call/unlimited standard national SMS), “medium” (3GB data/unlimited standard national calls and SMS) and “large” (8GB data/unlimited standard national calls and SMS) usage.

The “hero” offer is the Samsung Galaxy S6 for $59 per month on a 24-month contract (total minimum cost $1,416). Included is 3GB of data, unlimited standard national calls and texts.

You can also pick up the S7 from $68 a month on a 24-month contract (total minimum cost $1,632).

“Following the success of the initial launch of our mobile plans, we are proud to offer customers an extended range of Samsung devices with simple plans and strong data inclusions,” said Jason Hair, Woolworths Head of Telco. “Our customers will now have access to 4G, which is available across all of our Mobile plans.”

If you’re a Woolworths Rewards program member you’ll earn Woolworths Dollars with any of the mobile plans, too.
