Doctor Who‘s new companion tells us what to expect from her time in the TARDIS. Green Lantern Corps could star three human Green Lanterns. Jared Leto explains what makes his Joker unique. Green Lantern Corps
Latino Review has a “hot rumour” claiming that the movie will feature not one, not two, but three Lanterns from Earth: long-rumoured stalwarts Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and now Kyle Rayner. Interestingly, the site also specifically mentions that Jordan would be an older (and by older, they mean “around Matt Damon’s age”, apparently) mentor to the younger Stewart and Rayner. Pinch of salt and all that.
Jumanji
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed his rumoured involvement with the film via Instagram.
Suicide Squad
Jared Leto tells about the challenge of evolving his take on the Joker:
We walked in a completely new direction. I think we knew that we had to do that. It was important to do that. When the Joker has been done and done so well, it gives you a bit of an indication of where you shouldn’t go. There’s a bit of a map there. That’s the good part about it. I’m just the latest in the long list of people who have redefined and reinvented this character. The actors, the voice actors, the television series, the writers, the artists and the fans. People have taken the Joker and reinvented and redefined for 75 years. It is really special to be asked to do that.
It

Justice League
J.K. Simmons says his role of Jim Gordon is just a small part in the movie:
I don’t get started on that until June, and my part in the first one is very small. I’m excited to be playing that iconic character in that iconic series.
I’m going into a thing that hopefully will be two, three, four, maybe more movies for me, and my part in the first one is really very small.

The Walking Dead
TV Line reports that the show is finally putting out casting calls for Ezekiel, a major character in the comics that was introduced as a new ally for Rick and Alexandria during the Negan storyline. The casting call is for a recurring part, the “flamboyant and wise, nice and weird” Augustus, but the description heavily hints at in fact being for Ezekiel.
In the comics, the character was the leader of a group of survivors known as “The Kingdom”, and joins Rick in the fight against Negan (oh, and he has his own pet tiger, Shiva).
Meanwhile Steven Yeun’s casting in the Bong Joon-Ho sci-fi film Okja has lead to renewed speculation that Glenn is the victim of Negan’s bludgeoning, as he was in the comic. It doesn’t really confirm anything either way though, so make of it what you will. [THR]
