Lunch Time Deals: $400 Off A Dell Inspiron Gaming Laptop

When you’re buying your lunch today, you might want to take a moment and spend a little more. Gizmodo’s Lunch Time Deals posts point out any particularly good bargains for Aussie bargain hunters around the ‘net. Until Sunday, you can save yourself $400 on a pretty gutsy Dell Inspiron 15 gaming laptop.

If you’re a member of JB Hi-Fi’s mailing list, you should be receiving an email soon this week advertising this particular Instant Deal — it’s $400 off a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series laptop, dropping its price from $1898 to $1498. That $1500 gets you a pretty reasonably specced laptop, whether it’s for general duties around the house or for a spot of casual gaming.

This particular Inspiron 15 is more than capable in the CPU department with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor and 8GB of RAM to accompany it, and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M is a not-bad-at-all graphics chip considering the laptop’s price. Storage is capacious if not exactly fast — there’s no SSD, but a 1TB 5400RPM SATA 2.5-inch hard drive inside.

To redeem this particular Instant Deal, you’ll have to be a member of JB’s Instant Deal mailing list. It’s very easy to sign up if you haven’t already, and then you’ll receive this week’s deals in your inbox straight away. [JB Hi-Fi]
