Thor: Ragnarok
Speaking to The Daily Beast, Tom Hiddleston pondered his future playing the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s incarnation of Loki. The actor mentioned that Ragnarok was his “last” film as the character:
Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years. I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate.
But was equally quick to add that there’s always a chance that plans could be changed, and he could well show up in Infinity War:
I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know. They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.
Downsizing
Kristen Wiig has replaced Reese Witherspoon as the female lead in this movie about a family that undergoes a shrinking process in order to live in a community of similarly tiny people. [Deadline]
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
James Gunn says that his return for a third Guardians is not necessarily guaranteed:
Right now I really am just concerned with doing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I’m not sure what I’m going to do after this… Marvel has talked to me about continuing on. I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do or if that’s not what I want to do. I really just want to make Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the greatest possible movie that I can, and something that’s as honest and sincere and true as it can possibly be.
Power Rangers
David Denman has joined the film as Sam Scott, the father of Jason Scott, the Red Ranger. [THR]
The New Mutants
Simon Kinberg offers an update on the status of the film:
Josh Boone and his writing partner are working on the script. They’re doing a really nice job of it, and it’s a really cool one, because in many ways, like Deadpool was so different from the mainline X-Men movies, New Mutants… It’s maybe not as different as Deadpool, but it has its own unique, original voice to it.
That’s the fun for me, working in the X-Men universe, creating these sort of standalone movies that have a different vibe to them. And New Mutants has more of a YA [Young Adult] vibe to it.

The Walking Dead
Andrew Lincoln hypes up Negan’s entrance in the season finale:
We’ve been talking about this guy for a long time. It’s probably the most important casting since Rick, really. Everybody needs a hero, but I think they probably need a really good baddie even more. Negan’s incredibly charismatic. In this deranged society, there is a kind of logic to the way that he is running the place. He runs a tight ship, I’ll tell you that much. I’m actually very impressed. I doff my cap to this man!

Arrow
John Barrowman teases the identity of whoever is lying in the grave that has been teased throughout the season:
I’m saying nothing. You are going to have to watch. We all didn’t know until recently. The storyline took us to a certain point and then all of a sudden, it was right in front of us on the page. We were all like, “Wow.”
Were you even close to guessing? The cast must have been going crazy wondering.
I was completely wrong. I had a theory and I was completely wrong. I thought it was something to do with a shift in time. This is my own personal theory as a fan because we didn’t know and we were talking amongst ourselves. I said, “Remember when I talk the Flash and Oliver into seeing Vandal Savage? The Flash had just come through a time jump? When he comes to the grave, it could be an alternate reality.” That was my theory. Completely wrong. So wrong. Here’s me treating it like it’s an episode from “Doctor Who.” Someone said to me, “Why would it be that?” “Listen, I have experience in time travel. I know we can do this.”

Game of Thrones
Carice Van Houten expounds on Melisandre’s crisis of faith over Stannis’ death going into the next season:
What the f — k is happening? She’s been on this mission and all of a sudden it makes no sense and her tricks didn’t work — the sacrifice of this girl didn’t work. But I think it’s slowly getting to her that she might have been slightly wrong about things, so that’s where we leave her in season five and that’s definitely where she starts off in season six.
The Flash
Kevin Smith has shared a new picture from the set of his episode, including a shot of his long time collaborator Jason Mewes in costume for his cameo appearance. Also included? Bonus commentary on Smith’s opinion about Batman v Superman.
