Paramount Has Dropped The Little Prince A Week Before Its US Release

The Little Prince is a French adaptation of the classic children’s novel that we’ve been looking forward to for a while now. It was supposed to be released next week, on March 18th, but yesterday, Paramount decided to pull the film without warning.

IGN reported that Paramount has confirmed that they will no longer be distributing the film, and didn’t provide an explanation for the sudden move. It’s a puzzling one, because the film has already been doing fairly well overseas, and has earned a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hopefully, the film will find a new distributor and will find its way to theatres before too much longer.
