Vaya Is Offering 7GB Of Data For $34

Less than two months ago Amaysim bought out fellow Australian low-cost mobile service provider, Vaya. Last week Amaysim announced its 9GB plan for less than $50, and today sees Vaya reveal its own new and improved plans.

A bunch of price drops and data increases on existing plans are effective midday (AEST) today, and a few new plans have been added to the fold — including a new $34 plan that includes 7GB of data.

The names of the plans have also undergone a bit of a reshuffle to reflect the size of the plan rather than its cost.

Power Plan S (previously Power Plan 18) remains the same. Available for $18 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard SMS, $650 of talk and 1.5GB of data.

Power Plan M (previously Power Plan 22) has taken a $2 price cut and comes with all of the existing inclusions. Now available for $20 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard SMS, $650 of talk and 2GB of data.

Power Plan L (previously Power Plan 28) has also taken a $2 price cut and comes with all of the existing inclusions. Available for $26 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard SMS, $650 of talk and 3GB of data.

Power Plan XL has been added to the Power Plan range. Available for $34 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard SMS, $650 of talk and 7GB of data, making it one of the best value high data plans on the market.

Unlimited S has been added to the Unlimited Plan suite. Available for $20 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard talk & SMS and 1.5GB of data.

Unlimited M (previously Unlimited 24) has taken a $2 price cut and has an added 500MB of data. Available for $22 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard talk & SMS and 2GB of data (previously 1.5GB).

Unlimited L has had its data bumped up. Available for the same $28 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard talk & SMS and 3GB of data (previously 2.5GB).

Unlimited XL (previously Unlimited 34) has scored a whopping 3GB more data for just $2 extra. Available for $36 a month, the plan includes unlimited standard talk and SMS plus 7GB of data.

Each plans' inclusions are for use within Australia, with Vaya operating on Optus' 4G network.

"We’re thrilled to be able to offer Vaya customers even better value by packing more into our BYO mobile plans, and we’re focused on ensuring all of our plans represent the best value for money possible," a spokesperson from Vaya said in a statement.

Vaya is offering a $2 promotion on all its plans for the first six months, which means its plans will start from as low as $16 per month. Although the promotion is only for new customers, existing customers can also get the new plans by switching upon their next renewal.

I'm with telstra and get 6gb, $1000 calls. $40 a month. Telstra is a good option these days.

    I thought I'd give Boost a go.

$40 bucks. 3gb standard, unlimited talk and text. 2gb bonus data every weekend. Ends up being around 11gb. Works great if you can pace yourself throughout the week.

Telstra network, Telstra support. No problems so far. No 4GX is the only drama, which I don't have locally anyway.
