Valiant’s New Archer & Armstrong Emojis Are Cute As Hell

Valiant’s New Archer & Armstrong Emojis Are Cute As Hell

This week, the hysterical combo of immortal drunkard Armstrong and wannabe assassin Archer make their return to Valiant’s roster of comics, and to celebrate the publisher is releasing a series of downright adorable A&A-themed emoji stickers for you to disseminate around the web as you see fit.

Produced with Swyft Media, the set of 24 emoji will debut on April 1st as a special sticker keyboard in Valiant’s Heroes Emoji app on iOS and Android (which, coincidentally, will be free for a week starting April 1st to celebrate Archer and Armstrong’s return). Ever wanted to send your friend a picture of a cute little drunk demigod with an arrow in his butt? Well, you have strange tastes, reader..

The emoji set is just part of an opening volley of tie-ins to celebrate the duo’s return after their fantastic 2012 reboot series by Fred Van Lente and Clayton Henry (which wrapped up after 25 issues in 2014). At C2E2 Valiant is hosting an Archer & Armstrong panel that will debut the comic’s own official beer… which I guess is a sterling bit of tie-in media for a comic about a guy that loves getting drunk all the time!

Not sure what you’re missing out on when it comes to Archer & Armstrong? You can check out a preview of the series’ second issue here before it’s released on April 13th!

Giant robots and killer battle nuns? Archer and Armstrong captured by walking garbage monsters? Sounds just right. The Adventures of Archer & Armstrong first issue debuts this Wednesday, March 16th.
