Neat Visualisation Shows What's Inside a Watch

Video: What makes a watch tick? This exploded view of a mechanical watch shows the centuries old tech that is still used to keep time without a battery. It's all in the movement and the design, which is somehow harder for me to grasp than microchips and circuit boards.

Over dramatic much? The tools he's using are perfectly standard, and there's very little risk of "explosions" if handled with even the merest level of competency. Automatic watches also aren't a "modern" thing, they've been around for over 50 years.

An exploded view drawing is a diagram, picture, schematic or technical drawing of an object, that shows the relationship or order of assembly of various parts. (Source: Wikipedia)
