Canon EOS 1300D Specs And Photos (Unofficially) Revealed

It’s the internet, so of course we’re going to hear about the next instalment in Canon’s popular EOS series before the company gets around to doing it officially. Providing the details today is Japanese camera blog Digicame — we even photos of the thing.

According to Digicame, the 1300D will sport an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, measuring 22.3 x 14.9mm, with support for ISO levels from 100 to 6400.

Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication (NFC) hardware will also be included, along with Canon’s DIGIC4 image processing engine. The body itself will be 129 x 101.3 x 77.6mm and weight around 485g.

Oh yes, the photos. Here you go:

With the exception of the wireless additions, it’s essentially identical to the 1200D. Hopefully there’s a bit more to it than that, but for now it looks like an increment update.
