You Can Now Pre-Order Samsung’s New Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge

Today is the day that you can lock in your pre-order for Samsung’s latest smartphone — and get yourself a free Gear VR virtual reality headset worth $159 for doing so. Here are all the plans from Australia’s major telcos for the 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 and the 5.5-inch Gear S7 edge.

Telstra

You can pre-order a new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge through Telstra’s official preorder page. From the details below, it looks like the cheapest plan on offer is a $79p/m total repayment on the Galaxy S7 and $86 on the Galaxy S7 edge, on Telstra’s $55/month Go Mobile plan with 1GB of data.

Telstra customers can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Friday 26 February from 12:01am. Customers pre-ordering these phones will receive a free Samsung Gear VR, while stocks last.

In addition to a luxurious design, faster processing power as well as water and dust resistance, the flagship phones also support category 9 LTE download speeds and next-generation voice calling (voice over LTE). This means customers can enjoy speeds of up to 450Mbps on Telstra’s 4GX network in 4GX areas, and high-definition calling and faster call setup times with VoLTE.

Both smartphones are available on a range of standalone Go Mobile and Go Business Mobile plans as well as a great value package that bundles a Galaxy S7 with a new Samsung Tab A tablet for $99 per month on a Go Mobile Plan.

Virgin Mobile


You can pre-order a new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge through Virgin Mobile’s website. From the details below, it looks like the cheapest plan on offer is a $60p/m total repayment on the Galaxy S7 and $65 on the Galaxy S7 edge, on Virgin Mobile’s most basic plan with 300MB of data.

You can pre-order a new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge through Vodafone’s official preorder page. From the details below, it looks like the cheapest plan on offer is a $75p/m total repayment on the Galaxy S7 and $83 on the Galaxy S7 edge, on Vodafone’s $40/month Red plan with 500MB of data.

You can pre-order a new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge through Optus’s website. From the details below, it looks like the cheapest plan on offer is a $64p/m total repayment on the Galaxy S7 and $69 on the Galaxy S7 edge, on Optus’s $40/month My Plan Plus plan with 500MB of data.

Please note, the $130 plan is currently discounted by $30 which means customers will only pay $100 per month when pre-order either the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on this plan with Optus.
