Chadwick Boseman talks Black Panther. Get a look at Laura Vandervoort’s Supergirl villain. The Flash promises answers to the identity of the mysterious iron-masked man. Plus new Game of Thrones posters, and what is most definitely not your first look at the new Spider-Man. So many spoilers!
Captain America: Civil War
Chadwick Boseman discusses Black Panther’s role in the film, saying that, despite appearing to be on the side of Tony Stark in the footage we’ve seen, T’Challa is a neutral figure in the conflict.
[T’Challa is] not a superhero [in the usual sense]. [He’s] not on anybody’s team. It’s my political mission to tame it and get it under control.

Spider-Man
Desperate to see Spider-Man, fans are turning to peculiar sources for a potential glimpse at the hero’s new movie look. The latest? Marvel EIC Axel Alonso’s new business card, which he posted to twitter.
Hey, @tanehisicoates. Check out who’s on my new business card.

As it features primarily movie-versions of Marvel characters, fans assumed that the Spider-Man design included must be from Civil War. However, these designs are not entirely accurate to the movies otherwise: Black Widow’s costume features her red hourglass emblem from the comics, and Black Panther’s is closer to the comic look than his movie counterpart. So it’s more likely a generic Spider-Man design, rather than the movie design.
Wolverine 3
Following the recent news that the movie is aiming for an R-Rating, sources speaking to The Hollywood Reporter have defended the decision, saying that it’s not inspired by Deadpool‘s success and the film was always planned to aim for the rating.

Star Trek
Tony Todd has told the Mortis Horror podcast that he is part of a “very short” cast list for the show:
Tony Todd: CBS is doing their own series again… I’m on a very short [casting] list.
David Ward: Oh, so you’re actually on the list for the series?
Todd: Yeah. I’m on the list for a couple [of shows].
…It’s a year away. They’re not even going to get official cast until, probably, the fourth quarter of the year. And my only concern about it is that it’s going to be that [CBS All Access] online thing; I don’t understand that part.
I’ve never done a series regular — I’ve always avoided it because I like playing different characters — but this is one year that we’re looking at some stuff, so I’m sure that we’re going to be popping up and everybody’s going to move on on sometime very soon.
Todd describing it as being for a “couple” of shows seemingly implies it’s for a guest role (like his past Star Trek contributions) rather than as a regular cast member — but it looks like the casting rumours start here. [TrekCore]
Riverdale
The show has cast Luke Perry as Archie’s father Fred Andrews. Deadline describes him as “the owner of a construction firm who is hoping his son, who worked for him all summer, will someday take over the family business.”
The Flash
Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg promises answers to the identity of the mysterious masked man Zoom is keeping, in the wake of Zoom’s own identity reveal:
The mystery of the Man in the Iron Mask will play out over the rest of the season with some clues being layered in along the way. When you do find out who it is, everything will make sense in a very satisfying way.
