Hot Toys Is Doing Life-Size Figures, Starting With Armoured Batman

Good God, Hot Toys Is Doing Life-Size Figures, Starting with BvS' Armoured Batman

No longer content to merely make the most uncannily realistic 30-centimetre action figures on the planet, Hong Kong-based toymaker Hot Toys has announced they will be turning their talents to a new scale of figure: life-sized.

Yes, what you'relooking at isn't the 30-centimetre Armoured Batman figure we showed you yesterday, but a 2-metre figure. Let me repeat that: THIS IS A 2-METRE FIGURE THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE BATMAN DOES IN THE BATMAN V SUPERMAN MOVIE.

I wish to god Hot Toys had put out a picture of a real human standing next to it, but here it is next to its 1:6-scale mini-me version:

As you can see, the eyes do light up, as does the base and BvS logo.

Holy crap. This is basically the next best thing to owning Ben Affleck and the actual costume prop from the movie. Better, even because this thing won't need to take bathroom breaks.

There are no details about when Hot Toys will release this monstrous masterpiece, how many they will be making, or how much it will cost. Call me crazy, but I daresay it will not be cheap.

Who the hell is going to be able to pay for that? IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!

Screw that ... you can get a Realdoll(TM) for around the $6K mark I believe. Unless Hot Toys are planning to release Batman with a selection of optional ... err ... 'openings', I know what I'd rather drop a few spare $K (which I'll never have so it's a moot point) on ...

    That armour looks heavy.
Will Batfleck spend the whole film sitting in an armchair?
