You Can Finally Buy That Light-up Wearable Mega Man Helmet

Back in July of last year Capcom teased a truly magnificent wearable Mega Man helmet replica. And while it made appearances at Comic-Con and other geeky events since then, ThinkGeek has finally added the prop to its online store so you can now do Mega Man cosplay right.

As promised, the helmet splits in the middle with a hinge so it’s easy to put on and take off, and inside you’ll find multiple layers of padding that can be added or removed to accommodate those with average, or above-average, sized heads.

A pair of two AAA batteries is needed to power the $US160 ($230) helmet’s LEDs on either side, but you should rarely have to worry about swapping them out for a fresh pair thanks to a power-switch that ensures they only glow when you’re really trying to impress someone. [ThinkGeek]
