The First Official Look At The New Wonder Woman Film Is Here

It's here! The first footage from the upcoming Wonder Woman film has been released, showing Gal Gadot taking on the iconic role of Diana. The film will tell her classic origin story, from her start in life on Themyscira to her "journey to our world".

I've been watching this on repeat. Gal Gadot rocks the warrior Wonder Woman, but the compassionate side of her nature appears to be getting a decent amount of focus, too.

This makes me so happy.

What do you guys think?

"The greatest thing about Wonder Woman is how good, and kind, and loving she is, yet none of that negates any of her power." I think the director, Patty Jenkins, gets it! Can't wait to see Diana in action (in a couple of months in Batman v Superman, then next year in her own movie).

I agree.... It's great that we are seeing more powerful female superheroes coming to the big screen.. my 7 year old daughter often questions why most of the superheroes are male.

That's some hectic level colour filtering on those WW scenes.

When you think about it, it's actually pretty shocking that it's taken this long to get a live-action Wonder Woman movie made. Since 1978 we've had 6 Superman films, 7 with Batman, 1 starring Green Lantern, and only NOW after almost 40 years do they make a WW movie.

Oh well. If they can capture the character in a manner similar to how she's portrayed by Susan Eisenberg in the Justice League animated series, or the 2009 animated Wonder Woman movie played by Keri Russell, I'll be happy. I just wish Warner Bros would ditch the green-teal, desaturated look. It's so over done and off-putting these days.

Zack Snyder has tricked me into watching his movies too many times. Despite wonder woman looking neat, I'm not watching it

Snyder isn't directing this film, Patty Jenkins is.

Pumped...Liking the WW1 period too, and I guess that's why they are filming in England during Winter (has that bleak look). But my favourite scene was Diana trying on some glasses. Also, I hope they don't always use slow mo, some is ok, but not too much
