2:08 - Had to watch it again after feeling like I knew that roundabout.

Sure enough the sign confirmed that it was in fact the road from Hervey Bay to Maryborough.

    *Flying Kayaks ;)

Also, what's going at around 4:40? Were they filming a cop show at the same time or something?

From memory that's an episode of Gold Coast Cops or something - saw it on TV last year.

Seeing idiot's crash cars is one thing... but did they really need to include that kid getting hit by a car? jesus...

Today's lesson; There are way more idiots on the road than you think.

Wow even dashcam owners are retarded (myself included)

    - The fact that even though the other person may have caused the accident they still had the opportunity to avoid it. It was almost like "yep, I has a dash cam so even if i'm in an accident it should be all good bcoz it was the other person fault derp"

Yeah, I agree, and the law is pretty clear. There are rules on who has to 'give way', but no one has 'right of way'. If you could have reasonably avoided an accident but fail to, then you should take the bulk of the blame.

Would have been a hard case to prove in the past, but less so now with dash cam footage. A couple of those accidents looked very avoidable. But then again, maybe the footage skews the impression of available stopping distance and speed.

I agree. I'm always amazed when I watch these compilations, how many of the accidents could be easily avoided.

Is it just me or did a couple of those mash the accelerator instead of the brake? 0:53, 1:30

Feel real sorry for the guy at 2:50. Been there before, having to drop the high-beam for oncoming car and then boom. A kangaroo is sitting, bleeding, in the passenger seat and you're covered in glass.

What's the bet the motorbike at 4:07 blamed the driver because he raced, blind down the bike lane.
